PJ Metalcraft are superior craftspeople – from design to fabrication. For our major home renovation, we were looking for decorative lead coated copper dormers – I wanted to source local to New England  – most of the copper companies are west based – I wanted the dormers to fare well in our climate. I found PJM – working with them through the design phase, making modifications was very easy, we always received a quick response, good drawings, thoughtful suggestions.  We added lightning protection connections, and some aesthetic changes – the 4 dormers are stunning. From there, we added multiple chimney caps ranging in size, all custom including a very, detailed design of a mini French chateau. Scope included 6’ decorative finials.  As well a custom, outdoor vent hood for a gas grill. There was always attention to detail, nothing was overlooked. I am the homeowner, I brought them to the team – my architect and general contractor quickly came to trust and rely on PJ Metalcraft when they saw the quality arrive with each delivery. It is with great appreciation that I write on behalf of the residents and staff of Elm City Communities/Housing Authority of the City of New Haven to thank you for the generous donation to support our families who are in need of emergency metal beds during the COVID-19 pandemic.

As you are aware, we serve 6,000 of the lowest income families (14,000 individuals). These are families who are already living on the edge financially and for whom the economic and health disruptions caused by this pandemic are only further challenged. Our efforts to date have been focused on maintaining the safety of our residents and staff while continuing to provide essential services.

We have been providing several direct services to our residents to support our families whose health has been impacted by COVID-19. This includes tele-medicine and onsite testing and, shopping services.

However, we know that there remain times when residents will need additional supports. It is for this reason that your donation of 10 durable emergency metal bed frames is so timely and needed. It has been said in times of trouble that we should “look for the helpers”. We thank you for stepping up as helpers in this time. Working in partnership, together we will move beyond this pandemic stronger as a community.
