RETURN POLICY
Returns, Cancellations & Damage Policy
At PJ Metal Craft LLC, every product is handcrafted specifically for each customer’s project. Because our products are custom fabricated to your approved specifications, materials, and dimensions, we are unable to restock or resell them. For this reason, custom orders are considered Final Sale.
Our goal is to ensure every product leaves our workshop meeting the highest standards of craftsmanship and quality. We encourage customers to carefully review all drawings, measurements, and specifications before approving fabrication.\
Important Delivery Reminder
Important: Before signing for your shipment, inspect the package carefully and take photos from multiple angles—even if no damage is immediately visible. These photos provide valuable documentation should concealed shipping damage be discovered after unpacking and can significantly simplify the freight claims process.
Custom Products – Final Sale
All custom-fabricated products are made exclusively for your project and are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund due to:
- Changes in project requirements
- Customer preference
- Incorrect measurements or information provided by the customer
- Job-site conditions
- Installation methods or installation errors
- Architectural or design changes after approval
Please review all quotations, shop drawings, dimensions, and specifications carefully before providing final approval.
Order Cancellations
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.
Once materials have been ordered, custom tooling has begun, shop drawings have been approved, or fabrication has started, deposits and payments covering completed work, purchased materials, labor, and committed production costs become non-refundable.
If a cancellation request is received after production has begun, PJ Metal Craft LLC will evaluate the project status and determine any remaining balance or applicable credit based on work completed and costs incurred at the time of cancellation.
Fabrication Concerns
If you believe your product was fabricated differently than the final approved shop drawings or written project specifications, please notify PJ Metal Craft LLC immediately.
To allow us to properly evaluate the concern:
- Do not modify, alter, repair, paint, or install the product.
- Contact our office as soon as possible.
- Provide clear photographs and a description of the concern.
- Allow PJ Metal Craft LLC a reasonable opportunity to inspect and evaluate the product.
If we determine that a fabrication error occurred within our scope of work, we will work with you to determine the most appropriate solution, which may include repair, modification, replacement, or another reasonable corrective action.
Shipping Damage
Although every shipment is carefully inspected and professionally packaged before leaving our workshop, damage can occasionally occur during transportation.
Please inspect your shipment immediately upon delivery and before signing the carrier’s delivery receipt.
If damage is discovered, we strongly recommend taking multiple photographs before unloading or moving the product, including:
- The entire shipment on the truck (if possible)
- The shipping crate or packaging
- All visible exterior damage
- Close-up photos of the damaged area
- Any damaged packaging materials
- The product after unpacking
- The shipping labels and carrier information
Photographs taken immediately upon delivery greatly assist both PJ Metal Craft LLC and the freight carrier in processing damage claims.
Required Steps for Shipping Damage Claims
If shipping damage is present, the customer must:
- Inspect the shipment before signing the delivery receipt.
- Clearly note all visible damage on the carrier’s delivery receipt.
- Take photographs and/or video immediately.
- Retain all crates, pallets, packaging materials, and shipping documentation.
- Notify PJ Metal Craft LLC as soon as possible.
- Cooperate with the freight carrier during its inspection and claims process.
Failure to document visible damage at the time of delivery or failure to retain packaging materials may affect or prevent approval of a freight claim.
Freight Claims & Replacement
PJ Metal Craft LLC will gladly assist customers throughout the freight carrier’s claims process whenever applicable.
Any repair, replacement, or corrective fabrication resulting from shipping damage is subject to:
- The freight carrier’s inspection and claim procedures
- Approval of the damage claim
- Material availability
- Current fabrication lead times
While we work diligently to resolve shipping issues quickly, PJ Metal Craft LLC cannot be responsible for delays caused by freight carrier investigations or claims processing.
Our Commitment
Customer satisfaction is extremely important to us. We stand behind the quality of our craftsmanship and are committed to working with our customers to resolve legitimate fabrication or shipping concerns promptly, fairly, and professionally.
If you have any questions regarding your order, our team is always available to assist before, during, and after delivery.
